As a Counselling Psychologist, I work in the NHS, higher education and private practice in clinical, supervisory, managerial and training roles.
In the NHS, I have over a decade's experience of working in different settings with a variety of presentations - from anxiety, depression to relationship difficulties, self-defeating behaviours and complex trauma - with compassion and cultural sensitivity. I also enjoy my role offering supervision, reflective practices and find it rewarding contributing to training as Visiting Lecturer at City University London's Counselling Psychology doctorate programme.
I am an accredited member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HPCP) and International Experiential Dynamic Therapy Association (IEDTA). I am committed to continuous training and development as well as staying up to date with the latest research and guidelines and work as a peer reviewer for a psychotherapy journal.
